“We are a husband & wife creative team. We make everyday goods made from wood and leather. We started our business in 2017 and have become known for our line of mason jar leather sleeves that feature a hardwood handle.
We named our creation “The Woods Mug”. The Woods Mug was designed for my wife who loves to drink her beverages from a mason jar and requested that I design a wooden handle for a leather sleeve she wanted to make. It took months to get the feel just right, but now she is quite happy sipping her coffee every morning next to me.
Our goods are made using a variety of wood species and leathers tanned in North America. We try to keep our waste to a minimum by being innovative with our product design and packaging.” (chiselandhide.com/our-story)
